i read " Remember Me? " written by Sophie Kinsella.

Lexi Smart was twnty five year old, and she was an ordinary woman.
her looks was normal, and her fancy was normal too.
of course she liked discos or chocolate or something all girls like.
She worked at carpet company, but her position was average.
She had a boyfriend, but he was ordinary just like her.
However, after she had a car accident, everything changed.
she woke up in a hospital, and she knew that she lost her memory of last three years, and she realized that she was very ifferent from what she used to be.
she became twnty eight year old, and her looks and style was very good.
also she becaame a boss of the flooring department.
morover, she got married and her husband, Eric, was so perfect.
she was confused about her new circumstance, but she tried to get used to new lexi smart.
at first, she thought that her new life was perfect, but gradually she started to think something wrong.
she lost her best friends during last three years, and she knew that new lexi was not good boss and she was called "cobra" by her co workers.
also lexi and eric didnt get along well each other.
at that time, she met john.
he was erics work partner, and he said that he and lexi secretly had an affair.
at first, she couldnt believe him, but she became to think there was an affair between she and him, and john matched her better than eric.
then shr tired to know why she changed so much.

this story was written in the first person, so it waas very easy to know about main characters feeling.
also it was written by spoken language, so the feelings were expressed very clearly.
characters in this story were not so many.
therefore each characters feelings was written in detail.

this story started 2004, but maun story was unfolded in 2008.
the whole story is probably within one or two months.
the main scene is the suburb of london.
her office is in victoria palace road.

there are three conflicts.
first conflict is lexi vs herself.
lexi was very different from what she used to be in 2004. hse wanted to be herself, but people around her only knew about new lexi, so she pretended new lexi.
second conflict is lexi vs her staffs.
lexi became a boss during last three years.
she was very efficient at her work, but she wasnt kind to her staffs.
her staffs described her as a bitch-boss-from-hell.
therefore she tried to prove that she is not such a cold boss, but her staffs made fun of her.
last conflict is lexi vs her bosses.
her bosses decided to disband her department.
lexi was proud of her deparment, so she struggled to save it.

in the end, lexi left eric, and she went out with john.
also she made up with ger best friends.
she failed to save her department, but she got a license of all design of carpets.
then she and her friends started to deal with porsche by herselves.
her business went well.

people want to be rich or beautiful or to have a career.
lexi got everything at once, but she wasnt happy.
thats because ahe lost her parsonality.
there is something more important than money or beauty.

i think symbol is sunflower.
it appeared at johns house.
it was trigger for remembering her memory.
after she saaw sunflowers, she became to beliee that relationship with john was real.

there are two ironies in this story.
first of all, lexi never believed that she had an affair with john.
however, she gradually thought that she had a relationship with him and she was happy.
after all, she left eric nad she started to date with john.
second, lexi failed to save hwr deparment, but she got a license of design.
then she started her own business, and dealt with porsche.
at last, she succeeded her business.

lexi lost her memories, but it made her face with her life.
when she was tenty five year old, she disliked her whole life.
then she got perfect life when she was tenty eight year old.
she felt as if she was a cinderella, but she lost her friends, her favorate things, and normal life.
then she realized that living like herself is very important.
i learned that no matter how rich i am, life become meaningless if i dont live likw what i want to be.
